Yes, I had been spending experience with host people at home.
When you receive people's request, read their reference and profile. If you look and feel and trust and then you can host. How could you feel some one who should be trusted and comfortable., that is difficult. Yes the profile who has more pictures from them. it's also helpful and meet them up. If you do not feel comfortable to host them, please do not risk because it will be harmful for your reputation.
Ask them to give to you their Copy of Passport or the Original One because of preventing bad people who try to abuse this CS to make crime.
If you are not going to travel around the world, it should not be risk to host people.
