ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded and bubbly person. Traveling and volunteering have been my ardent passion in my life. I used to work in a hotel for a year and just began my first trip to Taiwan. I am not interested in touristy area and standardized routes at all. Rather, I am looking for very local and authentic experiences. So please kindly help me discover the charm of this beautiful country of Taiwan :D

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in Skopje, a capital city of Macedonia, I met a Russian friend in a hostel before joining my workcamp. We shared the same room and surprisingly, I found she was also going to participate in the same camp! She said she will have an appointment with couchsurfer, a French lady who were working as a volunteer in Skopje. Three of us gathered in a cafe and chatted. Then, we wandered around the old town of Skopje. Though it was short, I enjoyed meeting new people in an exotic place. I haven't met any couchsurfer from here yet, but unofficially, it was my first couch surfing experience and I want more!! :D

Basically, I am very curious about the world surrounding me. I like to learn something new and try to absorb. So I spend a lot of time searching information such as seminars, exhibitions, concerts, cinema to fulfill my curiousity.
Also, I greatly value traditions so wherever I go traveling I try to listen to traditional music and wear local custumes.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like human dramas and music movies. My favorites are how Starbucks saved my life, Black, Hotel Rwanda, Young@heart, Before sunrise.
In regard to music, I am fond of various kinds: classical, britpop, jazz, new age, Korean traditional music.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I did my internship in a beautiful resort in Koh samui, which is one of the islands in Southern Thailand. The sea view there with the small five islands is absolutely breathtaking but especially someday you can see the stunning sunset. It was magical! I am not able to describe it... I stayed there for about 3 months and feel lucky enough to saw it.
