I can take a while to warm up to people but in the meantime I love listening to stories! I studied physics in college so I have sort of a technical side but am that much more interested in things I didn´t study such as the humanities and social science.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have wwoofed in Ecuador with people who also hosted couchsurfers and had a great experience. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing ideas with more couchsurfers in the future!

兴趣

I love watching the Daily show and the Colbert Report. I enjoy discussions on feminism, physics and health. I love drinking coffee. I like swimming. Reading a newspaper makes me feel in touch and alive.

When I´m feeling like I need some strong women soul music I always go to Janis Joplin, Regina Spektor, Bikini Kill, Carole King, Feist, Johanna Newsom... there are so many great women artists!
I just finished reading ¨The perks of being a wallflower¨again and I really enjoyed it the second time around. Some other books I like: Yes means Yes, The Ethical Slut, Revolution from within, Never Let me go, Siddhartha, Tao Te Ching.
My favorite movies that I can rewatch over and over and over again are : Forrest Gump, Home Alone 2 and both of the Kill Bills

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was a guitar instructor at a rock camp for girls called ¨Willie Mae Rock Camp¨ in New York City. It was only for a week but was such an incredible experience. My favorite part was at the end when the girls put on a show, performing the one song they had rehearsed all week long at the Williamsburg music hall.

I want to learn Spanish! I know a little about organic garden but not enough! I could teach what I know and be open to learn much more. I want to learn so much more about Women´s Studies and womens experiences around the world.
