About Me

I'm quite new to this platform of couchsurfing!

Thanks to my friends who have been using this quite often and recommended me to do the same. I'm quite a sociable person and an organsier with checklists kinda personality who likes to talks about travelling, youtube podcasts, stand up comedies, music, basically anything where I can share my view or even learn something totally new. I love food and try different variations of home-based healthy Indian meal and will do the same for you and I expect the same from you, so that we can learn from each other about different cuisine or food making style. I also love walking, so can take around parks and help you explore the city (only during weekends) or suggest places to go around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have earlier lived and studied in Europe and had one of the best times. I made amazing friends, backpacked around lots of cities, explored different cuisine, lifestyle, monuments and got to hear some many stories. While I lived in Barcelona, my roommates friends used to visit us and they introduced us to their other friends who couchsurfaced in our apartment. I had such an amazing time with them. One of the Puerto Rican girl who couchsurfaced in my apartment actually taught me Bachata. Another Chilean friend introduced me to Piscola and taught me how to make tostones (though during my attempt to make it, I actually burnt it, so wouldn't say actually I learnt to make it fully edible xD).

Similarly, during my backpacking across Southern Europe, I couchsurfaced a lot in my friends place and had such a good time. Once when I was in Munich, my friend, their highschool friends and I went for dancing in the night and ended up watching sunrise together all while drunk us trying to find a pretzel store.

I'm looking forward for the same kind of experiences and journey here. I want to give back to the community as I like to host people, prepare food for them and have board game nights while exchanging stories. I really believe in the philosophy of doing all that you can to understand what you want and especially what you do not want. Exchanging stories always help to learn something new about world and life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Its very difficult to choose one song or artist, but I love all forms and kinds of music, no matter I'm able to understand the language or not, I'm in for the bass and notes of the music and hyping local artists.

Not much of a movie geek, more of a youtube person who likes to watch standup comedies or listen to podcasts on travelling, political scenario, economic development, stock market, business case studies.

I recently started reading fictional books after getting off the track for almost 5 years but have always been a reader kind of person since I love to read research papers. The fictional books that I read recently and liked are The Almond, Good Material and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to do things which gives me a bit of adrenaline rush. Recently I did a trek for 5 days with no wifi/internet or phone network at all and it was quite a different experience. I learnt how to set a tent and do camping, how to set a bornfire, how to cook food with just few woods and one utensil.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's more to world than meets the eye, similarly there's more to Hyderabad than Biryani. Can help you explore the traditional Telugu and Andhra food, both fancy dine in place or the local street style (just beware of the spices :P). I love sunset spots, will always find a way to see a sunset no matter which city I'm in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook Indian style food and share with you my Indian culture and help you create your next trip plans by helping you with creating checklists and helping with some strategies, especially around India as I have travelled a lot within India.
