I currently live on Salt Spring and I have always wanted to explore more of the gulf islands. I was born and raised in Vancouver and have recently left the city behind for a slower pace of life on a farm. I spend my days learning about organic growing, permaculture and community living and I think of myself as very blessed to be here.

I’m in the birth work field and am training to become an established doula. I love being able to help bring new humans into the world and this is something you will hear me speak about in depth, if you are interested.

I’m a creative type and will say that dancing is my greatest creative outlet. I’ve been to almost every music festival in BC and love the flow arts. I use a hula hoop and and have started practicing with a staff.

A recent passion of mine has been photography and I feel very drawn to shooting people in interesting places with natural light.

This past year, I was a full-time pet sitter and I had the opportunity to care for 10 cats, 3 dogs, a couple chickens, a hamster and a bunny. It was never a dull moment!

I would like to visit more of the gulf islands and have someone host me while I’m there. I feel that having a host is the best way to get to know a place in a short amount of time and I also really enjoy meeting like-minded people and getting a glimpse of their lifestyle.
