Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic movies (and new ones, but I'm particularly partial to classics) and I'm a huge sci-fi nerd. Peter David is my favorite author, his Star Trek novels, his comics, and his original fantasy. As for music, I'm a huge pusher of the all-ages indie scene. I love local bands (we have some spectacular ones), ska, punk... well, any genre, mostly these days I listen to indie groups just because I'd rather watch music live than listen to the radio.

Teach, Learn, Share

As an all-around go to person in regard to the music scene I know quite a few tips about different things. Promotion and booking are my forte, but I'm decent at running a sound board, organizing and managing shows, and researching city laws about venues to help places keep their doors open. Other than that I'm a pretty decent cook and can give people some tips on how to cook a nice meal, get people up to date on the Marvel U, and talk about the importance of this or that film in history.
