ABOUT ME

I am an explorer at heart- rather a jack of all trades. If there's a new topic, I can't wait to learn about it! I learn kinesthetically. I am a kind, free-spirited person who is always trying to remember to pay forward kindnesses that are given to me. Being a functional introvert, I'm steadily learning how to become a better conversationalist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in a lot of local events, I help connect people with other people who can host in my local area. I have surfed a bit as well in the Tampa area (4/2013).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted by some very generous people and have been introduced to a marvelous world of cultured, educated, and traveled spirits. I have also hosted some interesting people and made some amazing friends during my adventurous move to Florida. (4/2013)

I have hosted a number of domestic and international travelers in Tampa and Sarasota, FL. It has been quite an experience and really taught me a lot about what it is that hosts go through and how to appreciate their efforts much more. If you haven't had much experience hosting yet, I highly recommend it. You will grow in many ways you didn't know! (3/2014)

Intereses

Scuba diving, salsa dancing, live music, meeting new people, wine, exercising....I love variety and am typically down for whatever a day may bring. I can lead or be lead.

I love fantasy films and books- like Pan's Labrynth and Harry Potter. I also enjoy action comedies like TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze (the best one), Rush hour, and most of the early Happy Madison collections.

I've advocated for law changes to make the world a better place for foster youth and caregivers and been successful.

If you haven't danced any Latin dances and are curious, I'd love to show you some basics.

I can bake some delicious cookies.

In the past, I've taken on some cleaning and yard projects for some hosts who needed some help around the house. Expect me to clean dishes and put the kitchen back in order if you cook. That's how I was raised and it's a way to show my gratitude.
