Hi My name is Evon! I'm 33 :-) I've recently been getting involved in walking and hiking. I’ve been training and trying to get fit for the Camino in Spain. Finally doing such activities has motivated me to quit the job ive done for the last 9 years and travel big! I love meeting new people and trying new foods and experiences.
I will be travelling solo for around 6 months, minimum 3. But nothing is set in stone. I’m traveling on a tight budget and want to see as much of the world as I can in this trip. I cant wait to experience the world and its many wonders!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing as my job is not a high paying job. And like many travellers i would love to stretch out my travels for as long as possible. Which means i have to stretch out my money. I love the idea of things like couch surfing and volunteering! This allows me to not only visit more places but also fully experience the rich cultures and meet new and wonderfully generous people on a more personal level everywhere i go!

I have a fondness for golden oldies from the 50's and 60's, bit of hip hop, instrumental, jamaican, african beats etc, independant radio artists and heaps more. I appreciate most music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Vietnam, i hiked through the jungle to see the worlds 3rd largest open cave in the world and camped out in side the cave, which is so large it has its own beach inside the cave. Was breathtaking!

I've climbed to the top of Ayres Rock. Was breathtaking! :-D
I changed my life.
