Hi! This is Sunny. I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. Moving to the US two years ago for my bachelor's degree in the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Decided to apply for another study abroad in Berlin, Germany in my junior year and currently studying in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see travel as immersing yourself in a different culture and lifestyle and trying to understand it by talking, living and spending time with the locals. As a travel beginner, I started to realize travel is not all about the popular attractions, but how the attraction could be something as simple as seeing every day your life on the streets.
I start enjoying travel with more meaning and purpose. Now I challenge myself to dig a little deeper, beyond the surface to wherever you go next and interact and engage more of the locals because after all, it’s not the places, but the people that make it an unforgettable experience.
And can't wait to see where these new adventures take me.
