Relaxed yet full of energy. I love adventure and discovery and am a bonafide photo nut with a love for the outdoors. I teach 4th grade in Washington DC and photograph weddings on occasional weekends. It's a great blend that keeps me engaged with incredible people while fulfilling my creative soul. I enjoy meeting new people from all walks and discovering and learning from the diversity of cultures that this incredible world has to offer.

Aside from the connections couchsurfing creates, it's truly the people that make it great. I've had limited experiences from the site yet have loved every single one of them. It's as if the site only attracts interesting and curious people.

To date, I have used the site few times when I find myself traveling solo. I feel that it allows me to connect with the local vibe learning and sharing our varied experiences. I've used it for surfing and meeting other adventurers for activities. I hope to host in the future.

Midflight on a 4 AM chartered plane headed to Morocco from Moscow, I gave the Heimlich maneuver to another passenger. An amazing, emotional, and adrenaline rushing experience.
