ABOUT ME

I'm 30 currently living in Revelstoke BC. Just finished an amazing winter season and an even better summer. About to move to Switzerland to start teaching again. My main interests are snowboarding,music and scuba diving. My aim is to travel the world and experience as many things as I can before I settle somewhere. I want to put something back into the developing world while i still have my youth, teaching English is my current way to get involved.

I have spent the past five years in Canada,Vietnam, the USA, Australia and New Zealand and have met many interesting people and experienced some wonderful and some slightly odd happenings.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to see as much of this planet as I can and try and make a difference wether small or large wherever I go. on a personal, social or environmental level.

its finding new places and hearing about old ones.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first experience using an organised website to plan couchsurfing.
I'm keen to open my house to people outside the 2 degrees of friendship circle. Looking forward to meeting new folk and having some great times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since moving out and getting my own place in London at the age of 19 I pretty much had a constant stream of friends and friends of friends staying on my couch or in a spare room. This has led to reciprocal agreements all over the UK and Europe and have put up and been put up by some awesome people.

While travelling Australia and New Zealand I was fortunate to meet some fantastic people who were the utmost paradigm of hospitality and i unofficially couchsurfed amongst their small social network for a few months of my travels. I also WWOOFED around the North Island of NZ.

I used to DJ a hip-hop night in Hanoi, Vietnam but I like most music, I have a big preference towards drum and bass, metal and guitar based music. I love reading books, have been trying to read as much as I can while I travel. recent favourites have been, Terry Pratchett, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Portrait of Dorian Gray, The Three Musketeers, The Magus, Shantaram, and I could go on. I love watching foreign and independent films,

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have woken up at 4am on the Greek island of Zakynthos to go down to the beach to watch baby turtles hatching in the sand and making their way down to the ocean for the first time. Its one of my happiest and most vivid memories.

That and diving sunken wrecks off the coast of Mauritius have been possibly my happiest times.
