ABOUT ME

A young professional currently working in Hong Kong. I am an adventurous, open-minded and relaxed person and on every available holiday I would pack my bag, get out of the concrete jungle and explore the world. Every travel, every meeting with people from all walks of life, every turn I make reminds me to rediscover myself, my purpose and what I really want in life.

LOVE to meet people from all walks of life and always up for a genuine conversation.

LOVE to experience different cultures, meet people from all paths of life. Our DNA makes us unique and life would be pointless if we didn't get out there and meet those who are different!

MISSION

There are always life goals and dreams that we always think about from a young age. Not many people manage to complete it. For me, I don't know but it is what I will at least try so I do not have any regrets in life.

- To do a working holiday or travel for at least year

- One day I would love to have my own cafe, serving real coffee (if you know what I mean when you get a coffee from international chains). I want my cafe to be a place where travelers gather and share experiences. For those who might have constraint to travel, I want it to be a window for them to see the world and that one day they could also share their experiences in my cafe!

PHILOSOPHY

There are too many things to regret in life, and indeed it can be saddening when you look back. But hey, let's face it, the only way to go is not to make yourself regret in the future and live like there is no other day!

Be true to yourself and always remember why you are here, at this point in time, doing what you are doing.

'You can't change the world but remember the world can't change you either' It is hard to remember the real you in the world sometimes and we are often shaped by our environment. But I always remind myself not to follow the flow!

Because the best way to know and learn some else's culture is to shadow in someone else's daily life, from bottom up. I have tried hotels or tours, but in the end those experiences are merely a photographic memory.

I go travel whenever possible. Otherwise at home I like sports (gym / football in particular), love to be by the beach and do water sports whenever possible,

On the quiet side i just love to talk over coffee (recently completed my barista certification too!), read a book, appreciate fashion and cars.

And I just like to try out anything new!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

While backpacking in Vietnam, rented a motorbike to travel around cities without any prior experience nor a driving license at the time. Hence, today I still have a scar on my leg, a remembrance to adventures! (while this is not recommended!)

Coming out as gay in front of the whole class! I cannot recall where my confidence and courage came from back then (I was 19 or 20), but since I have been more confident than ever!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I might not have had as much CS experiences as other travelers (once before), but I would definitely want to do it for my trips from now on. One day, when I save enough to move out, I would definitely buy a spare bed/ couch and return the favour back to CS!

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I am an introvert and quiet person to begin with but I wouldn't stop talking once I get into it. I am a independent person and can always figure things out for myself, so you don't have to worry nor take care of me during my stay! All I wish for is a couch, some local recommendations and a beer talk with the host!

Also, if you are a foodie, I would be more than happy to cook Cantonese dishes to your table during my stay!
