About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To continue living life as fully as I can. To enjoy the wonderful people around me. To challenge myself to always learn and grow. To smile.
ABOUT ME
I live simply and joyfully. I like to spend time with people who have a positive and adventurous approach to life... people who are interested in connecting with others as well as their inner spirit and passions. I'm active, physically and socially. I engage with my community and love to stay connected to what's going on around me. I have a cat and do quite a bit of dog sitting to satisfy my love of dogs! Home is relaxing and peaceful. Don't watch or have a TV. Non-smoking, eco-friendly approach to living.
PHILOSOPHY
I think I included some of this sort of thing in the posting above.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm brand new. Just found out about CS from a friend. Looks like an amazing group of great people. What a way to travel!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with a wonderful woman in San Antonio last December while there for a conference. Met her by emailing a local church to see if members might be interested in hosting me. Had no idea at the time that this great CS resource existed.

Music, Movies, and Books
Magazines: Mother Earth News, Plenty, Ode. Books: Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri, Accounting Demystified, lots of tibetan buddhist readings. Music: Friday night jazz on NPR, compilation CD's, americana, roots, folk, pretty eclectic. Not a huge movie watcher. I enjoy them, just dont seem to spend a lot of time watching them.
