I am on a mission to talk with and listen to as many stories from as many people as I can in this lifetime.

ABOUT ME

I love to laugh, explore the world, peoples minds and things unseen. I'm not one to sit around and wait for things to happen. I am constantly going, doing and believe sleep is for when you die.
I love and respect all of nature and believe that it is important to have pets in your life. I have a cat named Georgy.
Right now I am living my dream .... working for myself!! I am a Massage Therapist, raw/living foods chef and teacher, in-home pet care provider, and custom bead jewelry creator.
I spend a lot of time thinking about my existence in this Universe and how I can improve my realm of influence. As I have discovered along with many others is that it all starts with me.
I enjoy keeping busy with outdoor sports, reading all I can on topics I love, watching movies and spending time with my friends just enjoying each others company.

PHILOSOPHY

I live each day for the next experience whether it be a challenge or a joy. I work hard to remember the good time, not dwelling on what I don't have or don't have anymore. I try to remember the lessons and let them make me a stronger, more open and accepting person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been spreading the word both in passing as well as serious conversation to just about every person I talk with. I was amazed to hear about it from my roommates and then after actually having couch surfers stay I was hooked! I love it, want to try it myself someday soon and want everyone to know about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in Maine while I was taking a raw food chef/teacher class September 2007. It was like being in college again .... sooooo much fun!!

Bead jewelry, hiking, swimming, triathlons, marathons, camping, backpacking, wake surf boarding, wake boarding, slolum sking, snow sking, snow boarding, yoga, aerobics, reading, movies, hangin' at the local pub enjoying all the people and conversation, animals, animal behavior especially as it compares to human behavior (we aren't so different), raw/living food, teaching others to live more healthy, goals and achieving them, helping others achieve theirs, challenges, ..... you get the picture. I could go on and on.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I pretty much love all kinds of music. Right now I have been listening to a mix that I put together of hip hop, rap, old school and techno.
I really love books too. I have way too many. Mostly I alternate between fiction and psychology type books. I love to explore different ways of thinking.
I am on a movie spree right now. I joined Blockbuster on-line and have been choosing the most random movies. The last one I saw was called "The Fountain". It was very out their, cool and bizarre. I recommend it if you are into that.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hiking to the top of Huanu Picchu (young mountain) and looking over Machu Picchu (old mountain) in Cusco Peru.
Hiking to the top of Mt Baldy in Southern California and seeing the city below floating on a cloud.
Hiking to the top of Mt Whitney in Lone Pine California and being able to see 4 states!
Swimming in the crystal clear blue waters in Jamaica and seeing all the beautiful coral and fish.

Always treat others as you would want to be treated. Remember what your mother told you about picking up after yourself. That is SO important when you are in someone elses home.
