ABOUT ME

I'm a 25 year old from Brooklyn. After spending the two years after university traveling in Europe, Central America, Cuba, and Mexico with my boyfriend Janusz, I have been back in New York for a couple of years now, attending graduate school and looking forward to the next adventure. I'm a laid-back, outgoing person, who loves meeting people and having a good time. I'm always down for a good party or a good conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends and I hosted couch surfers in Boston (where I went to college) a bunch of times, and it was always a lot of fun. My boyfriend and I Couchsurfed for the first time in Berlin, and it was a great experience. I look forward to hosting and surfing more as soon as possible!

Becoming a regular at the Absynthe bar Picasso used to frequent in Barcelona; Riding the Ferris Wheel at Oktoberfest in Munich; Swimming in the beautiful ice cold ocean in Cinque Terre Italy; Partying en las cuevas in Grenada, Spain; Traveling in a camper and posing as a Chupacabra hunter for two weeks in Costa Rica and Panama; Tutoring 7 year olds in rural Nicaragua; Swimming with turtles and meeting manatee in Caye Caulker Belize; Watching the sunrise en la Malecon en Habana

I love talking about the world around us, and am always excited to trade travel stories! I can go on forever about various political and social justice issues. I study sociology, crime and deviance in particular, and I am always happy to discuss related issues with anyone interested. Also, like any New Yorker, I love to share stories about New York City (especially Brooklyn!).
