ABOUT ME
Mom, daughter, sister, friend, lived the same place most of my life, but a gypsy at heart.
USA born and bred, but have always been interested in other cultures. As a child my family hosted through international programs visitors from Japan and England and sponsored a refugee from Poland.
I've traveled to every state in the continental US except Washington and Oregon and now wish to see the world, or at least meet people from all around the world (and the U.S.)
PHILOSOPHY
"If your not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space." I may not live on the edge, but I still like to peer over it once in a while!
Life is about the journey not the destination.

Music, Movies, and Books
Online: My favorite site is TED.com, described by a friend as the "bleeding edge" of Technology, Entertainment and Design. Check it Out!! Books: The Revolution,a Manifesto by Ron Paul, John Taylor Gatto (a NY teacher of the year - on the shortcomings of public schooling), The Power of Now; the Harry Potter movies, Pirates of the Caribbean ; newest CD:Mecca Bodega (some kind of fusion stuff, but really good!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most amazing place: Arches National Monument in Utah. AMAZING!!!!
Coast of Maine is cool, too.
Climbed Mt Katahdin, the beginning(or end, depending on where you start) of the Appalacian Trail.
Spent an hour kayaking with dolphins in Perdido Bay (between Florida and Alabama)
