About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To bring glory and honor to God by loving and serving those He has called me to, by relying completely on His grace to do so, and by resting in His sovereignty throughout the torrents of life so that I might lead others to do the same.

PHILOSOPHY

God's love and grace and mercy displayed on the Cross...that's what I live for. I have a passion for developing and encouraging people to become the full potential that they can be. I live my life to love and serve my God and to love and serve others whom he may bring into my life. Everyone always says to live your life like every day is your last day, but that's impossible. All you can do is live your life with passion and joy, do what your love even though you may not always love it, and treat others as you'd like to be treated. My personal philosophy is that the meaning of life is to find the meaning of life, which to me is Jesus Christ.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as movies go, I enjoy drama, romantic comedies, mysteries, and action flicks. I love almost all kinds of music...specifically rock, jazz, electronic, country, latin/world, classical, alternative, hip-hop, techno, and reggae. I enjoy Christian books of any kind: devotional books, relationship & love books, Christian living books (to name a few). I don't read fiction as much as I wish I did, but of the fiction novels that I have read, I love The Great Gatsby, My Antonia, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Brave New World, 1984, and The Fountainhead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been skydiving. I went on my 18th birthday. It was so phenomenal! There is very little that compares to the rush of jumping out of a plane and into a freefall with the air passing by your face so fast that it is almost suffocating. Once the chute is deployed, there is nothing but complete silence. Beautiful, calming, serene silence. It is one of the most peaceful experiences I have ever had.
