Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
conscious living through intention, awareness, experience, and adventure!
ABOUT ME
Into biking, veganism, cooking, writing, and gardening. Fluttering around the capital district for now, until another adventure calls.
PHILOSOPHY
Rumi said it best, to let the beauty of what you are be what you do, and this resonates deeply within me. Time is very precious and we have all of these very harsh verbs to define our experience of it ( spend, waste), so I aspire to cherish each moment and have intention behind my actions. There's never as important a time as the present, and that one must pursue what she wishes today, now, instead of waiting tomorrow. I also believe it is important to not take life so seriously and that whatever happens, good or bad, there's always a story to tell, to hear, and to learn from!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a bookworm and will eat through most regardless of topics. Especial appetite for graphic novels, photojournal essays, and nonfiction on gender identity, sexuality, animal rights, mixed race, and plants.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sea Kayaking around the San Juan Islands for a week and being 20 yards away from a humpback whale!
Biked across the country from San Francisco to Jacksonville, FL.
I do adventurous things, but really find that watching plants arise from seeds and spending time in the garden to be one of my absolute favorite and fulfilling activities. no matter what i've done, growing your own food feels like some of the most amazing things to experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about most bike mechanics, from patching flats to truing wheels. Knots are really handy to learn too and i'd show ya 5 or 6 of them. and cooking delicious meals that are vegan/gluten free/soyfree and/or raw!
Teach me the things you find really special, useful, or meaningful.
