About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Ski every weekend and have fun @ school!

ABOUT ME

I asked one of my best friends to describe me with three words. His answer after some time thinking was: purposeful, energetic and social.

PHILOSOPHY

If it doesn't mean anything to you, why do it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

Skiing! I love skiing backcountry and sometimes hitting some jumps, rails and all that stuff. The feeling of getting powder face shots during a cloud free day when you are out with good friends is unmistakably one of the best in the world!

I also do a good bit of climbing and photographing which both is a good number two in what i do with my time off from studies. Using a GoPro(sports camera) or a Single-lens reflex camera to capture a memory worth moment in my life is definitely a feeling I appreciate a lot!

One of my newer interest would be speedriding. It's freaking awesome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. One of my most memorable sights is not at all spectacular, but rather filled with sadness, disappointment, disbelief and a lot more. I was 14 years old, and my school class and I were visiting the concentration camp Auschwitz. One of the rooms we were shown was a showing of all the belongings of the former inmates. The sight of thousands on thousands of shoes, watches, clothes and bags really got a hold on me, and I don't think I will ever forget it.

2. During the autumn of 2011 I did a two week skydiving course. This had always been a dream of mine, or actually the idea of flying has always been a dream of mine. Not the Boeing 737 kind of flying, but the bird and wings kind of flying. Anyways, this course turned out to be more difficult than anticipated. The first six jumps I more or less did not have a good time. I was more scared/disappointed in my self, than having a good time. The reason for this was the simple fact that I couldn't control my movements i free fall. All this changed i the seventh jump. I will never forget the feeling I had, when I jumped out of the plane(with a instructor by my side), and was almost fully in control! The feeling of enjoying falling 200 km/h was indeed one of my best so far experienced !

3. My third and last moment I wish to tell you is actually not a single moment, but rather a specific type of moment. It is, as mentioned before, the moments were I have cold, fresh, powder snow under my wide skis almost dancing down a steep hill, only surrounded by high mountains. This exceptional mix of freedom, adrenalin and resemblance of not touching the ground is something I cherish and really can't get enough of.
