To learn more things, to meet new people, Looking for new experience
I don't know how to tell you about myself, but my guest Soiik, from Singapore. She leaved me her reference, this is what she said about me quote :
" What a refreshing experience an amazing lady Supaporn exudes youthful vibrancy, an insatiable wanderlust and a boldness that one rarely sees even in young people these days much less someone her age. Don't let her age fool you. She was a generous hast with whom I felt so at ease with and would highly recommend any/everybody to host or surf with her. Supaporn is the perfect exemplar of someone living her life to the fullest and savoring every moment. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her and am sure I am not the first to say that" unquote.
That what exactly who I am. She can describe me better than I can say about myself.
I used to live in Japan for 6 months and 34 years in United State. I raised my two daughters in the US. I am now retied and moved back to Thailand in 2010. I live in a small village 300km Northeast of BKK. 50km northeast from Nakhonratchasima (Korat in short) 20 minutes by bus to Phimai. Phimai is a small city, but you can see Banyan tree(Sai Ngam) and a Ruin Castle. There is nothing much to see where I live un Leese you wanted to see a real life of Thai farmers and fresh air.
COUCH IN FORMATION
You have to send a CouchRequest at least one week in advance. I check my email one every two days. I accept one or two guests at a time for two nights. I have two bed-room house.
I live in the same village with my family: sister, nieces, nephews. There is nothing for you to see around my village, accept the rice farm around the village. Most of my guests came here just to relax, breath fresh air and get to know the real life of Thai farmers.
From Nakhon Ratchasima is 50 km. It take about one hour to Ban-Mai-Kasme where you have to get off the bus. From Ban-Mai-Kasame is 4km to my village (dirt road) You have to plan to arrive at Ban-Mai-Kasame before 5 pm. Sorry I don't have a car to pick you up. If you are coming one person I have to find someone who has a motorcycle to pick you up and you have to pay him 50 baht. If you are coming two person, I have to find someone who has a pick up truck to pick you up. You have to pay him 100 baht. The reason it is a bit expensive because he or she has to stop from what they are doing to pick you up. Thai farmers always are very busy with their works. The reason that you have to arrive before 5pm, because at 5pm or after they are busy with cooking or eating with their family. Nobody want to stop cooking or eating to pick you up.
I believe that we are on a journey and that we should try to enjoy it as best we can. Treat the other with respect as you wanted to be treated. I love to share for what I know best. Try to do the best I can, Hope will have the best in return.
