I am working to eliminate as much suffering in the globe as I can.
I am a human being traveling this world through space and time. I was raised on political organizing and compassion. When at home, I am normally working on a campaign of some sort.
In my leisure time I train myself and any other interested parties in Karate and Yoga, and anything else I can share.
I enjoy life and live with my mind in the present.
This world is an amazing place. I would really love to see us (humanity) maximize our potential play time. My thoughts on this universe/kalpa (ask if you don't wanna google search the word)basically come to this; we are the really complex wiggles on the end of a universal explosion the likes of which is nearly beyond our comprehension.
Since we are all on this world together, let's make it a great place to enjoy and share fun stories and experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, as I am writing this, I am in Bangkok hanging at my friends dojo. I am teaching karate and yoga while I am here. Soon, I will be meandering around a little bit more.
As an added bonus, I will teach yoga, karate, basic self defense or any other skills I can when I couch surf!
I look forward to participating in this on the hosting side when I return to a more settled state of life.
I have never officially couch surfed. I have spent time with friends around the world, but mostly when I travel it is for international competitions.
I am interested mostly in learning and personal growth/development.
As far as arts are concerned I study and practice as many as I can. In order of skill/practice: Politics, Karate, Cooking, Yoga, Guitar, Singing, Sketching/painting.
Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy music theory, and just about anything of quality is worth enjoying or at least trying.
As I have been traveling I realized how much I missed rock music in America. But, I enjoy just about any music, depending on the time and place, and my mood.
I mostly read books that can teach me some sort of skill or life lesson.
I don't spend much time watching movies but I can be persuaded to watch almost anything, excluding horror/slasher movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A lot has been experienced, and a lot more will come in the future. For now I will say waking up in the mountains over the Kathmandu valley to a sunrise that shone down into the valley. The misty trails between ridges were so thick they looked like rivers. Also I got licked by a cow about 2 minutes later hahaha.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Karate, Yoga and political organizing professionally, so if you are interested hit me up!
