Hey there, this is Lee from Shanghai, China :) I am a pretty easy-going person always up for a laugh, a good time. I've studied as an exchange student in Germany for 6 months and took the advantage of that to travel around Europe :P That was the best time of my life! haha I just love the feeling of being on the road. I believe one of the most basic concepts in travel is movement, both literally and figuratively, it means freedom. And certainly there is an allure in going to new places, encountering unpredictable situations, and seeing unfamiliar things. As beautiful as the sights may be, I'm far more interested in absorbing the culture and talking to the locals. After all, "A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.":D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine surfed all over the UK when he studied there and he highly recommended me to try couchsurfing saying that would be exciting. I have only just started using this site and am looking forward to meeting some interesting people during my travels and I'll certainly return the favour once I'm back in Shanghai!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiked to Berlin to see the Radiohead concert (first mitfahren experience) About half-way up, the road was in perfect condition and then the driver was doing about 280kph while playing Highway to Hell from AC/DC! It was just sooo cool!!!

Hiked onto the top of Stromboli Volcano in Sicily and witnessed the eruption with my own eyes just 500 meters in front of me!!!!!!

The most fortunate and the most grateful thing is to know the Lord, experience God , and finally baptized into Christ! "To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father - to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen."
