Was born and raised in Thailand then moved to The US when I was eighteen . Got educated in higher education there , both my BA and MA are in Fine Arts. Worked as an 'object conservator' restoring objects for museums and collectors . Sustained facial nerves problem effecting my left eye causing me to take an early retirement . I moved to Chiang Mai , Thailand in June 2014 because of my attachment to the North. I admire the culture and nature of Chiang Mai and enjoy riding my motorbike to places near and far, from around the city to long road trips exploring the Northern region .

I'm 53 yrs Asian male, 165 cm, 63 kg, easy going with interests in arts , history , and nature and foods . My politics tends to be on the liberal side with the concerns in the environmental and human/ animal right issues. Though was raised in a Buddhist tradition and have Buddhist values , I'm also rather eclectic and curious about what's out there

An unexpected early retirement brought me to Chiang Mai about a year ago( June 2014). I've been enjoying the city, the province and the northern region . I feel more 'settled ' now and am looking for something rewarding to do . After hosting a backpacker from Israel recently , I discovered how much I enjoyed sharing and learning about other people . I myself, as a back packer, have good memories of meeting folks from all over the world .
