One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When my 86 years old father was down with seizure, I took over entirely serving him, that stage I had not reckoned in my wildest dreams. My task became instantly easier when treated him as a fellow human being, not as my own father. I thanked God for showering upon me his abundant blessings and mind to carry out my tasks happily - everyday twice cleaning him, from head to toe, replacing his diaper with a new one, sitting next to him to listen to mild talks. 6 months down, in 2019, the final call came, he happily accepted it, and in a matter few minutes he relieved himself from his last breadth.

Since 2020, my service has been extended to my mother, one fine evening she suffered a mild stroke. Doctors from one of the leading Hospitals in Chennai, declared that my mother's survival was a "Medical Miracle". Since then, I have been taking care of her, along with my wife and my younger sister. I had once again thanked God for giving me an opportunity to serve my mother, with the same rule, I approached her as my fellow human being, not just my mother. Amen!!!!
