Overview
About Me
I’m Suren, an economist and lecturer based in Armenia, working in international finance and cooperation. My world is usually numbers, policies, and global economics—but outside of that, I’m all about long walks, good conversations, and discovering how people live in different parts of the world.
I’m someone who values structure and discipline (I’m extremely punctual), but I also genuinely enjoy spontaneous experiences, especially when traveling.
I enjoy meaningful discussions more than small talk, whether it’s about global trends, personal stories, or just how different cultures approach life. I also run a personal finance blog, so if you’re into economics or money talk, we’ll definitely get along.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I don’t see travel as just moving between places. I see it as understanding people. Staying with locals gives me a perspective no hotel ever could. For me, it’s about conversations, shared experiences, and seeing the real life behind each destination.
