ABOUT ME

We were itching for an adventure, so we bought an old van, left our jobs in New Haven, Connecticut and hit the road. By June, we hope to be in Nicaragua. We're journalists by trade, writing stories about the places we go and the people we meet; we're also trying hard to become conversational (if not fluent) in Spanish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We had our Couchsurfing profile up in Connecticut, but we never got a visitor. Then again, New Haven isn't the most thrilling destination for global travelers. Perhaps when we're back in the Big Apple, someone will give our couch a try. This is an amazing project.

Hiking the Andes in Venezuela; Sailing through the islands of Saint Vincent; Eating pasties in the Montana mountains; Swimming in a glacial pool in the Trinity Alps; Automotive break down in the middle of a Marti Gras parade in New Orleans.
