Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelers now rate a comfortable full-size sleeper sofa in the living room of my one-bedroom apartment in west San Jose, near Santana Row and Campbell.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some really cool people, and heard many tales and some good music...eaten tasty food...and shared fun experiences with travellers. I've genuinely enjoyed meeting and hosting everyone who's stayed here.
I also have noticed that I describe most of my surfers as "adventurous," which is sort of redundant; if you're traveling freely and using CS for lodging, then you are by definition adventurous. I need a better vocabulary.

Interests

You can't stay here without at least being invited to a firedancing event...and you really should attend one. I don't spin, but I love the energy and the social aspects of the scene. There are a lot of nice, pretty, cool places around here; I like to eat well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch a lot of TV, and not many movies, but I'm not averse to the idea. I have a room full of books, 99% nonfiction.
