ABOUT ME

Note: Since joining Couchsurfing a couple of years ago, I've been married. My husband, also a couchsurfer, and I are now opening our home to other surfers. Feel free to drop us a line!

I'm naturally curious, creative and passionate about life. (Yes, I know we all say that, but that's what comes to mind!)

I could give you some examples -- and offer to do so over dinner or drinks at your place or mine. I absolutely love meeting new people -- singles, couples, young and senior. I've found that the "best" people to meet tend to be people who travel this way, rather than staying at the Hyatt in London (although I'm sure the Hyatt in London has it's rewards as well).

I'm going to stop typing now just so I can get this posted. I do hope to hear from folks. It would be great to host or come visit you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed only once, but it was great. Have been traveling, so haven't been able to host through couchsurfing. Can't wait to start!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although it wasn't through this site, I registered with another one a few years ago when I was living in Chicago. While I never was a surfer, I hosted surfers many times. My favorite team was two guys from Canada who were in Chicago for the annual Comedy Fest. (Which is a HUGE deal, since we're home to Second City, which launched Saturday Night Live.) I went to a bunch of their performances and we had an absolute gas. THIS is what couchsurfing is all about.

Musica, film e libri

Any great airplane mystery read (for airplanes.) I'm woefully behind the times on music and would love to be exposed to the latest and greatest -- or oldest and greatest. Haven't seen a really good movie in ages.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I just completed a bit of a would tour courtesy of an American Airlines frequent flier ticket. I went to London, Africa, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Thailand, Bankok, Malaysia, Hong Kong and various other places. This was one of the more amazing thing I've done in my life so far. But many more moments to live.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can't imagine anyone would become a surfer just to sleep. You can do that in a bed. Surfing is an active experience. I'd like to learn how to travel light. I'd like to learn how to explore alone -- without a guidebook. I'd lilke to show people my town as I see it through my eyes, and then see my town in new ways as I see it through their eyes.
