ABOUT ME

Update 01/12: Back to accepting guests whenever possible :) I am now living alone. I live in a truly incredible house, surrounded by nature and tropical birds, about 2km from the beach. You would have your own room, overlooking a valley. If you are independent, or a couple, I think you will really enjoy it here. Unfortunately, I can't hang out too much because I am quite busy growing my startup. If you indicate willingness to help me with my project in any small way, your request will fly to the top of the list :) Happy travels!!

Update 08/28/15: Ok back to accepting guests :) Currently very busy, but I do have an extra room available these days!

Update 03/23/2015: Sorry guys, can't really accept guests right now. Things are very busy!! But if you are in the area and want to meet up for a drink, just holla :)

Update 01/05/15: Ok now we are in a bigger house, so if you don't mind the couch, we should be able to comfortably host two people at a time :) FYI I do get quite a few couchrequests, so be sure to make yours interesting :p !!

Update 10/30 : FYI, unfortunately, I think we only have room to host one person at a time, unless you are bringing a tent or hammocks or sleeping bags

Update 09/01 : Now living with a girl named Malinda who is extremely good vibes and easy going. Don't worry, my enthusiasm for hosting couchsurfers hasn't waned; if anything, it has heightened!!
---------------------------

There is nowhere on the planet where you will have more fun, more laughs or receive a warmer welcome than at my house!!

i am all about living in the moment, good conversation, appreciating nature, and surfing!

I actually live in Playa Hermosa, which is ~4km from Jaco. It is more tranquil and has better waves for surfing. It is 5 min by car to Jaco, and 30min by bike. The town of playa Hermosa is also extremely good vibes, has a fun nightlife, and a few good restaurants

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A really amazing place we went to on one of our travels with Allan was La Isla Del Sol, a beautiful mountainous island in the middle of lake Titicaca, the highest navegable lake in the world, nestled between Bolivia and Peru. It was a very beautiful and spiritual place with a strange energy. You can climb up to the top of the island's mountains and have a 360 degree view of this immense lake and other nearby islands, and in the horizon you can see the jagged Andes. This island was worshiped by the Incas and they even performed human sacrifices there. There is also a labyrinth on the island!! I'm not kidding!! And supposedly there's a tunnel underneath the labyrinth which goes below lake Titicaca and goes all the way to Machu Picchu....
