ABOUT ME

I work as an engineer, but try to spend my free time doing non-technical things and away from my job. I try to take at least one trip a year abroad and work allows me to do that. I´ve been to Korea, Japan, Brussels, Holland and Luxembourg this (past) year. I went to college in Boston and DC (GW).

I am orignally from Puerto Rico, so I speak Spanish. I like to ride my bicicle during the summer, kayak, visit the museums at the Mall, and just be outside.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couch surfing event recently (chili gathering). I have never ¨couch surfed¨, always traveled by myself and staid at friends and family. I hope to couch surf, invite people, and participate in more events. I'll definately volunteer and attend the activities once I get more familiar with the group...

Interests

Traveling overseas and in the US, biking the trails in DCM, watching movies mainstream and indy, all types of Music from U2 to Radihead, attending concerts, PS3, NFL (Patriots)...

Recent and mainstream movies like Inception, Tron Legacy, but also movies from Akira Kurosawa, Memento, the Proposition, documentaries (The Fog of War, Who Killed the Electric Car).

Music: Classical, Hard Rock (Alice in Chains, Tool, NIN), Radiohead, Bebel Gilberto, Miguel Bose, Soda Estereo.
