ABOUT ME

He! It's Susa here! I'm an "evergreen" of 44, I live in Rome with my son Jacopo. As a child I travelled several times to Greece and Slovenia by roulotte; at 11 I was sent in England with a friend and at 12 I travelled across USA and to Cape Canaveral to see the satellite "Sirio" launching! Unique experience! Travelling has become something radical in my life...when I look through the eyes of another culture I experience Einstein's relativity theory. When my son was 9 I took him with me to Australia, for his first travel abroad, then we left together again to Thailand: he fell in love with the BKK super technical style and I scubadiving in the mystique of the tropical sea! Two years ago he left to Bulgaria with his best friend, while I went through Laos Vietnam Cambodia. If I travel alone it is different, but I appreciate to magnetize him in overlooking to the planet. My son JACOPO is 15 y.o., adores compu,manga,anime, everything coming from Japan, english speaking, super technology. His philosophy is: Being as Garfield (the cat), eating,sleeping,dreaming and "poppe"...!
We live in a fantastic, chaotic city, I myself cannot get in use with it... I work during the week and have the week-end free, meet my friends in our houses or around to drink, go to cine, concerts, theatre, lake, seaside, natural spa, trecking etc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a beginner in couchsurfing I was not sharing a couch yet (by this net)! When I go abroad I always try to share the more I can with local people
Anyway a woman from USA will come in may and she'll sound out my couch for you! My first aim now would be to find a chain of hospitality along Japan for agoust 2011 to bring my son there! MEANWHILE I DEFINITELY OFFER MY COUCH TO JAPANESE PEOPLE (but not only)during the weekend, and search couches to surf in Malesia next summer (20 julay/25 agoust 2010)

Interests

Discover my son, human being, exploring and learning from nature, my job, theater, dance-dance-dance, my friens, music, cinema, different way of thinking, spectacles of satire (we need it a lot here in Italy!), eating and drinking good stuff, not leave dirty footprint around, discover new planets travelling as a gipsy (rediscover my nomadic root), read challenging book, learn to rest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Seeing: Pasolini, Fellini, Monicelli, Lynch, Choen, Tatì, Greenaway, Miyazaki, Dardenne and documentary works about science and nature as "What the bleep do we know?" or "Microcosmos" and "Genesis"....Listening: from ancient tribal chants to the european polifonic vocal tradition, to Vivaldi Bach Coricelli and most of the baroque, to blues jazz (!!) soul funky and of course I grew up listening Frank Zappa, the Oregon, Joan Baez, Little Feat etc etc...Reading: from Neruda to Marquez, Pirandello, Dante, Queneau, Debord, Ziegler, Chomsky, Jodorowsky etc etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

to be born...! seeing a satellite launch, rafting on the river to the Nepali jungle, the first look by Jaco, visiting Angkor Wat and Taji Mahal, eating oysters taken from the rocks in the north-east Brazil, dancing "pizzica" in the south of Italy, scubadiving in Phiphi Island and of course knowing a lot of people...

Teach, Learn, Share

I could give you a taste about how to manage with a massage and anything concerning my work! (sensitive area that implies a bit of respect!)
I'm a good cooker: I can transmit a lot on italian cuisine and I like to learn about foreign dishes...I can train your Italian language: starting from the bases would be a bit complicated...(but possible)I can introduce you to dance "pizzica"
