I have spent the last year studying in Reykjavík, Iceland. This has involved living in a dorm with shared kitchen/bathroom facilities, making me a suitable guest in your home. I am using Couchsurfing to travel through Europe, while visiting friends that I have made during my studies. I enjoy meeting new people and eating lots of food! :)

I have heard good things about Couchsurfing, and am looking to try it out for myself. I like to meet new people in new environments, and this seems perfect when exploring a new city :P I would like to avoid the more popular, tourist-y destinations and find places that are more out of the way, yet still provide an idea of a city's culture and atmosphere.

Spent August 2015-May 2016 in Iceland, discovered the beauty of nature firsthand: northern lights, up to 20 hours of sunlight, snow storms and blizzards, hot springs and rivers etc etc
