About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be Batgirl
ABOUT ME
I am Ph.D. candidate in evolutionary biology. I study bat evolution. I am originally from Hong Kong, but grew up in NYC and am now back for my PhD. I travel a lot in SE Asia and am out of town a lot, so unfortunately I can't host a lot.
PHILOSOPHY
I love my job. My job is to be Batgirl. Ergo, everything is awesome.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I mostly surf when I'm traveling (which is often). If I can, I will host, but I often have colleagues/friends over already taking up my floor.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have met a lot of CS-ers mostly in SE Asia. Oddly enough, I haven't met as many in the US since I'm not home as often...
Interests
I travel a lot for work throughout Indonesia. But I'm too busy catching bats and living in the jungle, but do hit me up if something interesting comes up. I admittedly do miss having people to hang out with. Oh and I definitely miss Japanese karaoke.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Flying foxes are the best, most amazing thing ever. That's why my life is dedicated to them.
Ah, and trying not to get eaten by a Komodo dragon during fieldwork...
