ABOUT ME

I am a happy healthy mature woman; semi-retired and excited to see and experience alot more of the world. I love my home in Hawaii, can't imagine living elsewhere, but want to visit alot more places. I have 2 adult daughters I'm very proud of and 2 beautiful grandchildren. I love family and create it wherever I spend time. I love people and also solitude. I love reading, music, movies, learning about various cultures, and the beauty of nature.

PHILOSOPHY

To quote the Dalai Lama, "My true religion is kindness.". I am very open minded and can find something to admire in almost everyone I meet. I love life and try to live each moment in a state of gratitude.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed in Europe in 2011 and enjoyed it thoroughly. I've hosted countless travelers since, and enjoyed them.

Books, almost all kinds of music, good conversation, walking, swimming, snorkeling, all kinds of food, gardening, spending time in both cities and the country, exploring new places, people watching

Classic rock, jazz, reggae, Hawaiian are favorites but I appreciate all types of music if it's good quality. Same with books and movies;
enjoy all types if quality.

I've lived a very full and varied life and have a huge extended family with all kinds of lives, so I
have learned alot about people living in harmony. I'm a master midwife with 30 years of experience in natural homebirth.
