About Me

2025 Update: Just back to Toronto to study Psychology.

————————-

Old Version: 2023 - Early 2025

Hey this is Sue, I just quit my corporate job after 8 years of progressive career in data analytics, and went on the journey to explore well-being industry and alternative way of living! I lived in tropical land (south east Asia) for over a year, mainly based in Bali, Indonesia, and Chiangmai, Thailand. Travel to Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore during visas runs, LOL Here, I yoga, dive, motorbike, meditate, and met lots of cool wonderful people through CS.

What makes travel so amazing is always the people.

I enjoy living like the local. To get to know the locals and expats, immerse in their culture, knowing what makes them happy and struggle, and forming a meaningful connection. Which means, I tend to travel slowly and often appreciate spontaneous discoveries. Like one day in Taiwan, I was on the agenda to visit Old Palace, but got stuck in a vintage shop, spending the whole afternoon listening the owner (like my grandpa) talking about his life stories with the change of history and political powers. I found its more fascinating than the famous old palace itself.

Oh forgot to mention, How cool it is to meet my CS host from Portugal again in Thailand, after 2 years! I invited him over, share good food, also a road trip together in rural Thailand. Same with another surfer sister who stayed with me in CS host place in Italy, we got to met again, after years apart! and spent a solid good 2 months together (she being my landlord lol) while witnessing some important growth for her life -- That's the magic of CS.

FYI: I do interview Podcast with ppl who are living special lifestyle, are in or have done big changes in their life, if you want to be interviewed, hit me up!! 🎤🎧

—————————————

2 summers ago, there’s a super nice Japanese girl from CS stayed with me in Toronto, but unfortunately she is no longer with the community due to sex harassment, and her 100+ nice reviews/memory also gone with it. This community definitely needs more respect and care from us.
