After college, I decided to travel the world and landed a job as an au pair in Paris. While I loved the city, my most memorable experience was meeting a friend in Germany and riding our bikes to the Czech Republic where I had my first animal attack-a rogue sheep. Laugh if you want, but the sheep left a bruise on my knee after trying to take me out!

I developed a taste for adventure, so for the past few years I've been traveling in the outdoors. I completed a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail, as well as my first long distance bicycle tour from Cape Town, South Africa to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
