ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old waitress living in Austin. I go to school on and off pursuing a degree in linguistics. I do some theater around town. I love meeting new people and showing them around my city and love to travel and meet people. I am happy when those around me are happy so i'm pretty easy to get along with. I love swimming and water but have never surfed. I would like to one day. I would also like to meet a platypus.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been fortunate enough to have met kind people that let me stay with them while traveling before I knew about this website and would love to return the favor. I had such a great experience couchsurfing abroad and learned so much from meeting new people, I'd like to continue to do that in Austin. I also travel with the intention of meeting people from where I am traveling to, and would much rather make some new friends in the area i'm staying then stick to hostels and tourist spots where I just meet fellow tourists and never really get to see the real culture

Interests

I love food, cooking, yoga, film and theater, getting a drink somewhere, and swimming. just got into volleyball as well. I like it alot, but am no good at it yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got lost in iceland and wandered onto a glacier. It's more absentminded than amazing to most people but the experience for myself was mindblowing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an easygoing person that is happy to hang out and meet new people, but am also independent enough that if you are busy I can explore on my own. I really just enjoy good conversation and I love to cook for people ( I never cook anything I wouldn't love to eat. so it's always awesome.) And I'd love to be able to host someone I've stayed with in Austin where I live.
