Hello, my name is Susani and I’m from Brazil, but in the moment I'm living and studying in Hull, England. In Brazil I have been studying Medicine in the State University of Rio de Janeiro since 2011. I always had a dream to study abroad and this dream come true last February, 2014 with the Science without Borders Programme from Brazilian government. Now I'm living in England and I'm having the opportunity to study and to travel around Europe.

I think it is really interesting because you can meet people and make new friends who you can help a lot. In addition, when you need help, you can ask someone to help you as well. In this experience, you can exchange culture, add knowledge and make some good friends. Thus, it is awesome when people can help each other. When one person receive a guest, this person can help in a lot of aspect, such as: giving tips about the city, advising about the place, giving tourist information and making the guest save money as well. So, the guest can learn about the place, know you person in the city and save money to have an opportunity to travel more and learn more about other cultures. Sometimes people travel alone and it is so nice when you know someone in the city before you get there and if you can get some tips from one person who lives in this city is wonderful. Looking to another side, the host can learn general knowledge as well, practice a second language, make friend and the host can also visit this new friend in his/her country. In my opinion, this initiative is good in both way, for host and guest. Finally, it is a win-win experience!

兴趣

I'm interested in my degree because I really want to be a doctor and I love helping people. I'm really proud of my university in Rio de Janeiro and I love studying there. I'm also interested in one health life, so I enjoy eating healthy and doing exercises. In addition, one of my best hobby is traveling. I really enjoying traveling and learning different cultures.
