Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Read a lot of books. Drink a lot of tea/coffee/wine. Travel on a therapist's budget.
ABOUT ME
I love to travel with my awesome husband, Cole, who is going to school for social work. Together we have a huge heart for other cultures and for learning. I currently do therapy with teenagers dealing with homelessness and have a history working with intimate partner violence victims. I have a passion for supporting people to heal from trauma, and am a huge believer in self-care, so I need to travel more!
I am recently vegan, which adds to adventuring as I am always looking for local vegan places to try.
PHILOSOPHY
“Love is the only way to grasp another human being in the innermost core of his personality. No one can become fully aware of the very essence of another human being unless he loves him. By his love he is enabled to see the essential traits and features in the beloved person; and even more, he sees that which is potential in him, which is not yet actualized but yet ought to be actualized. Furthermore, by his love, the loving person enables the beloved person to actualize these potentialities. By making him aware of what he can be and of what he should become, he makes these potentialities come true.”
― Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and think a local's perspective on their community makes traveling more meaningful.
Intereses
I am very interested in the healing process and social justice. I love to dance, try new foods, meet new people and see new places. I love winter beers, red wines and a little bit of everything else.

Algo increíble que he hecho
I once stayed for a summer with 500 Christian hippies in a 10 story hotel who have committed their lives to serving the homeless in Chicago.
