About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling around India/Nepal, southeast Asia, China and NZ with my best friend and exploring this excellent part of the world!
ABOUT ME
You could sum it up by saying if it involves traveling or being in the outdoors, I am as happy as can be. Having grown up in Europe, I began traveling at a young age, and can't seem to get it out of my system. I love seeing new cultures, trying foods I don't know the name of, getting out of my comfort zone and exploring the big mountains, valleys etc. outside my home. Traveling also allows you to meet fascinating people, and I appreciate a couch as much as I enjoy lending out my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Most recently, my best friend and I decided to 'take a break' from work and school and commence on an adventure through India/Nepal, southeast Asia, China and NZ. We are novice couchsurfers, but eager it to join this excellent network. We're stoked on the idea of lending out our couches when we're back home in UT, and hope to take advantage of CS during our travels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've not yet couchsurfed ourselves, but I have only heard the greatest things about others' experiences.
Interests
I love anything outdoors but my true loves are big mountain skiing, mountain and road biking, hiking, running and yoga. I'm really eager to take up climbing when I get back to UT as well. Apart from the outdoors, having lived in China off an on for the past few years, I am also pretty taken by the crazy country and the language. I love my family, I love my friends and there's nothing better than hosting an impromptu I.D.P. (International Dinner Party) with whomever can come over with a dish!

Music, Movies, and Books
A few favorite books would be "Everything is Illuminated," all things by Isabelle Allende, just about any non-fiction, and whatever can be found a book exchanges in southeast Asisa. As for music, I've been told my iPod is diasasterous, but I love good ol' country, some bluegrass, Brett Denon, Bon Iver...and anything I can loudly sing along to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been fortunate enough to make it to some fantastic parts of the world including: China, Nepal, India, Europe, Jordan, Israel, southeast Asia...and soon to be New Zealand
...and I've lived (all too briefly) in America's best state...UTAH!
