Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though I'm crazy about hotels I love to experience a place fully when I visit. Instead of just doing the basic tourist things that everybody else does I want to dig deeper, meet people and get to know the culture of a place. How better than by living with a local?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen Mount Everest (from a plane), I rode a camel in the Egyptian dessert, I bought a car and travelled down the US West Coast, I took a spontaneous trip from Vancouver, BC to Portland, Oregon which lasted 26 hours in total. I don't like bragging with the things I've done.
