ABOUT ME

I love the earth, and I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I am fascinated by ancient sites around the world, and as an artist, I like to paint plein air (on-site) at these sacred places. I am currently completing a project called, 'The Oracle of Gaia' which is a summary of many years of painting, study and travel.

I prefer to be both a host and guest. I enjoy meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet had a formal 'couch surfing couch' on my travels. However, my most fun travels have been on friends and friends of friends' couches.

兴趣

Well, beside traveling, the centerpoints of my life are art, music and dance. I love animals - I'd live in a zoo if they'd let me. For now, I only have two cats. I used to show horses and still I enjoy riding.

I don't watch much TV or movies. My downtime is usually with my nose in a research book or a historical novel. I like music I can dance to. If its classical, I much prefer Baroque.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hiked the Inka Trail in Peru for several days. It was the hardest hike (w/high altitude climbs!) I have ever done and the most rewarding. I saw ancient sites and rare orchids and astounding views, including rainbows below me in the mist from the mountain-side.

I've studied spirituality and cultural anthropology and mythology for many years. I enjoy discussing and learning from other's experiences, expertise and cultures.
