About Me
Hey my Name is Susi and I live in Erfurt, Germany at the moment. In February of 2014 I decided to leave my home country behind and to become an Au Pair in the US. Till the end of March 2016 I took care of three wild but lovely boys in Baltimore, Maryland. Yep, I stayed and worked with them for 2 years. While being in the USA I used to travel whenever I had a chance.
I love to get to know new people and their habits, humor, food and local drinks as well as their life stories. No matter if it's while going on vacation with friends or just traveling by myself. I'm down for almost everything from h (m)ostels, camping outside, a weekend hiking trip and Airbnb. Now I'm trying couchsurfing as well :D
Uff I thinks it's always hard to describe oneself. Friends say about me that I'm reliable, funny and an outgoing person. It's easy for me to find a common language with most people and I make friends very quickly. I also live with 2 other people, whom I share an apartment with. Since we hang out and spend a lot of time together, I thing there might be the high chance that I'm sociable person:D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel! As you all know traveling isn't cheap but I think you gain so much more through it, that' s definitely worth the money and while. So saving a few bucks with couchsurfing - to spend them for the next big adventure or store them in my piggy-travel-bank (yes, I have one^^) - is the best way to go.
Music, Movies, and Books
Way to many to list them all here or ever at all!! I'm big into Ed Sheeran and had the pleasure to experience him live. So if you want to hear me going on and on about a concert, this would be definitely the way to go. I love concerts, they are part of my work life in general so it's save to say that I had my fair share e.g. Linkin Park, Ed Sheeran (!), Usher, No Doubt, Fall Out Boy, Train, Natasha Bendingfield and so on.
It's the same thing when it comes to books and movies. A guilty pleasure of mine would be the lion king though.
