Hi!

You're welcome to stay with me and my room mates (my partner and my cat) for a couple of days (1-3/4nights).

Please notice: we'd love to talk a bit and also give you some advice on what to do in Potsdam, but we're basically just offering a room and bed to sleep in without the "entertainment package". So please don't be disappointed if we're not going to be able to do stuff together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My partner and I tried Couchsurfing during our road trip through the USA and it was amazing! We met great people and enjoyed our stays with locals much, much more than the couple of times we stayed in hotels or at a camp ground.

Now we'd like to "return the favour" to the CS community and meet people from all over the world who want to stay in Potsdam for a while.

PLEASE READ: We prefer guests who stay not longer than 3 nights.
We're happy to welcome Couchsurfers in our home, but we're usually not able to show you around or hang out a lot. We'll give you some suggestions on what to do, though (if you want them ;-)). ...aAnd of course we want to get to know you and are happy to have dinner with you if it fits in our schedule.

Interests

What I like to do:
- talk, talk, talk some more
- watch movies (anything from Hollywood to experimental... just no Horror)
- listen to music
- ... and sing along (I mean, I LIKE to sing along, I'm not saying that I'm good at it ;-))
- annoy my cat
- care for my plants

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Erykah Badu is one of my all-time-favorites, but you can also lift my spirit with Disclosure or Jack Johnson or ... sometimes even sometimes Katy Perry ;-)

Movies: that's tricky because I am a big movie fan and have many, many, many favorites

Books: Well, one of my first books, that really "stuck with me" is Interview with a vampire; I also enjoyed Isabel Allende's classic "The House of the Spirits" ... but lately I only read Spanish learning crime books :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to practice my languages skills... especially Spanish! But also learning new words in other languages would be great :-)

Furthermore I love to talk about philosophical and psychological topics.. getting to know different views of the world and learning about alternative ways of living.
