ABOUT ME

I love:
-travelling
-studying languages
-laughing! (I'm laughing all the time)
-meeting new people
-postcards!!!
-dancing (I used to dance flamenco)
-reading books (travel books - yesss)
-music
-walking (I just love walking, I can walk for 2-3 hours listening to some music, or just enjoying everything around me)
-beaches - I don't care if it's summer or winter...when I'm on the beach, I have that special feeling of freedom...

I'm that kind of positive thinking, smiling girl, who loves adventure, my favorite quote is "I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way", I want to travel the world, and find myself somewhere :)

I come from Slovakia, I lived in :
-Spain for 6 month (1 month in Malaga- studying, 5 months in Lloret de mar - working),
-The Netherlands - one year working as au pair
-United Kingdom since september 2013 - started in Henley on Thames, continued in London and now I'm living with my boyfriend in Manchester:)

I love languages... My first language is Slovak, so I can speak fluent Czech as well. My other languages are English, Spanish and some German and Dutch :) I need to practiceeeeeee

I'm just enjoying the life :) I try to enjoy every second of my life, making my dreams come true and I'm just...happy :)

PHILOSOPHY

EXPLORE-DREAM-DISCOVER

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. - Mark Twain

Travelling is like flirting with life. It's like saying, i would stay and love you, but I have to go; this is my station. - Lisa St Aubin de Teran

A different language is a different vision of life. ~Federico Fellini

Learn a new language and get a new soul. ~Czech Proverb

Words want to be free! ~Author Unknown

Language is the means of getting an idea from my brain into yours without surgery. ~Mark Amidon

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies about travel and adventure, fantasy, comedies, drama.. I'm not a big fan of sci-fi but can give it a go.

Indie music is probably my favourite. Oh and love listening to reggae on beautiful summer days :))

I'm addicted to travel books, Lonely planet series for example.
Apart from that I like travel writing, the last book I read was George Mahood - Free Country, I was laughing all the way through it, it's amazing!
One of my favourite books is also - Molly Hopkins - It happened in Paris, this girl is a "couch tour-guide" and I dreamed about this job when I was younger, it's very funny, definitely a nice read for girls :)
I'm currently reading The Lord Of The Rings (yeah I'm a bit late) and I'm absolutely enjoying it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was 17, very in love with Spain. I decided to study Spanish and go to Spain next summer. My parents couldn't pay my course, so I found a job in McDonald's, worked every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, earned my money, and made my dream come true. 1.8.2010 - I will never forget this day!! <3 I spent one wonderful month in Andalusia :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm gonna be very happy with all the German, Spanish, English and Dutch speaking people who can help me with my languages! I would love to meet people from loads of different countries so you can teach me something about your culture etc :)
