About Me

I'm a local Taiwanese and grew up with strong cultural influences from Japan and Korea.
I study in an international environment, and many of my university friends come from different East Asian countries.
Being surrounded by diverse cultures has made me open-minded, respectful of personal space, and comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and have spent time traveling solo as a woman, which has taught me to appreciate flexibility and simplicity. I believe some of the best travel experiences come from being open to change and meeting people along the way

Interests

I love beautiful scenery very much!!
Also enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether it’s walking around a city, a small town or nature. Learning the history of a place is always so interesting

  • singing
  • scenery
  • explore new places

Music, Movies, and Books

Use to be a huge kpop fan, but currently BTS is the one last group I keep following. I also know to sing a lot of songs from Yoasobi because this group only make incredibly meaningful songs! The rest of the songs I listen are mostly 2010s pop music from the US since those are literally my childhood memories.
I've always been attracted by fantasy novels and kind of interested in Cthulhu Mythology, a classic cosmic horror
I watched every movies made from Marvel studio, my brother and I are big fans of Ironman and Spiderman. We spend whole life to get to know and appreciate MCU haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sometimes walking home late at night after evening shifts in capital city but surrounded by lights, people, and cars, feeling a sense of quiet liveliness at the same time

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell stories about East Asia culture and Taiwanese daily life, and introduce Taiwanese dishes or snacks like dumplings, baobun, etc.
Currently, I’d love to learn about local life and traditions in Scotland

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bubble tea, nice meals, everything tidy, and Jpop Kpop Mandopop 😄

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Taiwan, United Kingdom
