ABOUT ME

Hello! I am an easy-going, fun and talkative Alaskan girl, who loves to travel, swim, practice/learn/speak languages, and have a good time with friends new and old. I grew up in Alaska, went to university in Wisconsin, and then moved to Seattle for one year, before moving to Spain in September 2010, where I am living and teaching English to high schoolers. I have also lived in Sweden, New Zealand, and Ecuador as an exchange student, Sweden during high school and Ecuador and New Zealand during university. I'm an athlete and I love anything and everything about the outdoors. I am passionate about education and social justice, and love meeting new people! I love to talk as well as listen, and I think that the best way to understand our world is to travel and meet people from many different countries, religions, mindsets, etc....which is one of the many reasons that I think CS is a fabulous network!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed a couple of times, but am excited to start hosting, too. Of course, I plan to continue to travel a lot this year while I am living in Spain, so I plan to use the site often both as a surfer and as a hoster!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I am a new member of CS, I have limited experience, although I have heard many great things from friends. My only experience thus far was surfing in British Columbia, and it was nothing but positive!
