About Me
What about me?? Where should I start...
I am Susi, a little girl from a little village in the mountains in the heart of Europe called South Tyrol. I am a caring, open-minded and cheerful person, I guess, at least some people told me so :-D
My friends would rather prefer to use the word crazy to describe me - and it is true, I have to admit that I am a bit loco and I have a screw loose but come on, in a world where everybody is soooo serious and straight you have to be a bit crazy and let the sun shine in your heart. And that is what I am trying to do every day: get up in the morning with a kind of a big smile on my dozily panda-eyed face and enjoy the day as much as possible. You only live once!
This space is actually to small to describe who I am! Therefore, I would suggest, the best thing is to get to know me to find out more about me ;-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I am coming from a little village in the middle of the mountains on 1360m above sea level where live is calm and neighbours are better informed about the last gossip than actually the local newspaper, I always wanted to go out of that comfort zone and discover the world. I mean it is really nice to live out in the sticks but for a girl like me it is not enough.
I want to see different places, make unforgettable experiences and get to know interesting people from different cultures. Couchsurfing is therefore the best solution - I can travel and get directly in touch with foreign people, learn more about their background, their culture and the place they are living.
Every day, every place, every person, every thing is an adventure and I want discover all these things to make my life a huge adventure!
Interests
I am basically interested in everything what makes fun or teaches me something interesting for my life. That can go from learning languages over getting to know other traditions until knowing how to open a beer bottle with a lighter! :-P
Music, Movies, and Books
I do not have a specific favourite type of music, movies or books. If something inspires me or attracts my attention then I like it, no matter what kind of music, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done... actually I cannot list one thing, because there are sooo many things in my life that has been amazing and hopefully will be amazing in the future.
There is one thing I would like to notion here: in 2015 I did a two weeks tramping tour to Morocco with my beloved sister. The best two weeks in my entire life with emotional experiences and insights into a world where artlessness lives next to an amazing Aladdin-palace. Concluding, we did a tour through Morocco and in every city we were hosted by different couchsurfers who were so kind and generous at the price of a smile! :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart always will be elsewhere.
That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place.
