ABOUT ME

I'm currently a student at SUNY Geneseo studying Computer Science. I'm very dedicated to getting outdoors whenever I can. This summer I want to go on a long distance bike trip, as well as hopefully getting back on the Appalachian Trail in the Northeast.

Interests

I'm very interested in how to apply computer technology to making people's lives better. Right now I'm looking into working on investigating the effect of the Emerald Ash Borer on Geneseo through computer modeling. I take my education very personally in that I want to make sure everything I learn is applicable to my life or future in some way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just spent a week in Tennessee backpacking the Appalachian Trail. I found it very interesting to have to worry about my personal water supply. Usually I never have to think about where my water will come from, however on the trip it was a constant struggle to manage our water supply.
