About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn and experience as much as possible

ABOUT ME

I am a 19 year old student (of political philosophy, history, and political science) interested in seeing the world and learning about it! Some of my interests are described below. I am presently 'studying abroad' at Oxford for two terms, and will be traveling in between (Dec 12-Jan 20). Very excited!

PHILOSOPHY

Learn, expand, synthesize, create.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just joined CS, but I hope to participate by hosting interested travelers at my home in New York and by meeting and engaging with those who are interested as I travel myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new! I'm sure I'll have some wonderful stories to include here in short time.

Interests

I am interested in politics, art, travel, philosophy, nature, meeting new people and strengthening relationships with old friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love classical music, particularly Chopin and Bach. I am also a fan of popular music from the 1960s, including Bob Dylan and The Beatles. Finally, I love country and folk music, which I have always found very authentic.
Books: Dickens, Potok, Arthur Miler, Vonnegut
Movies: V for Vendetta, Tristan and Isolde, Good Will Hunting

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last fall, I had the amazing opportunity to speak at a large political rally on the National Mall in Washington, DC to 200,000 people! It was quite an adrenaline rush =)

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I am always particularly interested in learning when traveling outside of the United States is how America is perceived my other nations, and what actions Americans can take to create a better image of our country in the world. I would be very interested in 'learning' about this from others. As a student of American politics, I am also always willing to 'share' my perspective about my own country.

Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
